Welcome Friend, You Can Call Me CeCe!

Photographer, Traveler, Dreamer

Growing up being creative was in my nature, although I wasn't dreaming of becoming a photographer, I always took pictures and enjoyed scrapbooking as a way to preserve my own memories. Never did I imagine I would create a meaningful career of doing that for others! Being able to capture the joy of two people in love has in turn brought joy into my life as well. I thank god often for the opportunities for travel memories I can cherish and the amazing couples he has brought into my life

Because everything is about the why behind it!

It's very important to me that my clients get to know who's behind the lens in order to feel comfortable and confident in my ability to capture them beautifully! The best photos are forged with authenticity and personal connection. So here I am to lay out everything about me on the web. Do we have anything in common?

I like to consider myself an old soul, full of passions and dreams that I'm just burning inside to accomplish. I'm not soft-spoken, I love fun, and energy, and bold! You may look at me and see a savvy city girl, which is probably because I love fashion, but nature calls me in all aspects, and surprisingly I feel the calmest near geothermal areas like volcanoes. As I travel, I feel like I've found new a missing piece of myself, and that feeling is so invigorating. A few hard moments in life has taught me the meaning of family and to value my time with them, along with how precious the unconditional the love my fur-baby is. It's not always easy, but being selfless for them is more rewarding than anything of monetary value.

“THE ONLY PERSON YOU SHOULD TRY TO BE BETTER THAN IS THE PERSON YOU WERE YESTERDAY.”

My passion and purpose.

I’M THE Face BEHIND THE CAMERA:

I have always been a dreamer, an adventure-seeker, and a romantic at heart. Being an elopement photographer allows me to bring together my two biggest passions in life - photography and exploration. The thought of venturing to the most breathtaking destinations around the world, capturing intimate moments between two people deeply in love fills me with excitement beyond words. Why? Because it's my real-life movie! I relish the opportunity to witness and document the unfiltered, raw emotions exchanged during weddings where it's just about the couple and their commitment to each other.

It gives me immense joy knowing that through my lens, I can create lasting memories for couples embarking on this once-in-a-lifetime journey together. For me, being an elopement photographer is not just about taking pictures; it's about providing couples with timeless images that capture their love story against breathtaking backdrops while having the privilege of exploring this beautiful world. Traveling to stunning landscapes, picturesque forests, or remote tropical islands as a part of my job feels like a dream come true.

MEET THE FAMILY

DJ

Husband

My college love who entered the military 8 years into our relationship. We were pretty much inseparable until then. He's a bit feisty and shy but would ultimately give you the shirt off his back. He enjoys working on Helicopters and hopes to be a pilot.

SHAMUS

Fur-Baby

The newest addition to our family! We adopted Shamus from a food-market rescue shelter in Incheon, Korea while stationed in the country for a short time. He's a beautiful Malamute boy who is the most loving big baby and has plenty of energy to play all day.

Uncle Jimmy

Behind The Scenes

Uncle Jimmy is like my father who helped raise me, he moved in with us after my aunt passed away and loves to join me at sessions to get out of the house! He helps me getting behind the scenes videos and watches everyone's belongings while we shoot.

Lover of Exploration

Let me tell you, traveling has completely changed my perspective on life. I've come to realize that the value of seeing the world far outweighs trying to have expensive things. When you're on the road, exploring new places, meeting different cultures, and soaking up breathtaking sights, it hits you. Those moments spent out in nature are priceless. Suddenly, collecting stuff seems trivial compared to adding another unforgettable adventure to my bucketlist.

COOL FACTS about me:

I. I PLAY GUITAR.

I was always a lover of music throughout high school were I played Viola and sang in choir. I also taught myself guitar, ukulele, violin, and piano. Today I still play guitar mostly and sometimes write my own songs.

II. I BOUGHT A SAILBOAT.

My bucket list always had "to own a sailboat" on it so when I found this deal I couldn't help but immediately jump on it. I rushed over 4 hours away to purchase her and I'm currently working on fixing everything like new. See you later on "Santa Flamingo"!

III. I'M A SECRET CHEF.

I'm still debating if I should get a food truck or not lol, but health reasons led me to explore a different diet and food choices, which helped me learn how to make simple things we buy at the store every day. I love "bowls" and have a secret collection of recipes I may bring to the world one day! I enjoy cooking for my family and educating on clean eating.

My Values: Being brutally honest...

Go with the flow of the day

It's no secret that weddings can be stressful and nerve-wracking, with so many moving parts to coordinate and so much pressure to make it perfect. Some of the most cherished memories often come from those unplanned moments. So, let go of perfectionism and trust your vendors to handle any hiccups that may occur. I'm a huge advocate for allowing your wedding day to naturally unfold and watching you experience each moment to its fullest - You might even make a new funny memory from it!

Treat vendors like humans

Acknowledging that weddings span across the entire day, it is well understood that there may be periods of downtime allowing for sufficient breaks. During that time, ensuring your vendors can utilize a step away to eat while no significant moments are happening is of utmost importance, enabling them to stay alert during times with all the action!

Safety Comes First

I'll do alot of things for a shot, but when It comes to safety my goal is to ensure everyone goes home the same way they arrived. In the context of hiking or being present on a cliff, it becomes imperative to actively listen to the provided guidelines or posing instructions relayed before making any movements. Behaving recklessly will not be tolerated when it comes to someone's life!

Personal vs professional boundaries

After the wedding day sometimes life happens unexpectedly. Every photographer who operates as a sole proprietorship has no desire to delay projects or let down their clients. However, we wear multiple hats daily. Therefore, If a personal matter should occur where out-of-office time is needed, we have no one to cover for us. One should have the courtesy of not assuming that their photographer will prioritize work over emergent matters. Communication is key here!
